Kingdown School is looking to appoint a highly skilled Teacher of Art to join its friendly and successful Art Department on a fixed term contract, with effect from September 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT, who is passionate about helping all young people to believe, aspire and achieve.
Working Hours: Part-time (0.6 FTE). Required: September 2025.

The successful candidate will be able to teach across the full age and ability range, up to A Level is desirable, and will be a team player happy to collaborate and share ideas with other teachers within the Art Department. QTS status is essential for the role.

- Has a commitment to extra-curricular activities;
- Is aware of current initiatives in Art;
- Has experience of teaching photography at KS4 & KS5 (advantageous);
- Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to the work in the Art Department and our school;
- Has a positive, cheerful outlook with a good sense of humour;
- Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff;
- Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
- A desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.
